FRIDAYSAMURAI OF JAPAN: The Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures, 1809 N. Chaparral St., will feature a presentation on Asia's most recognized warriors, "The Samurai of Japan" with guest speaker Matthew Platz at 6 p.m. today. Question and answer session will follow. Participants can view the Samurai armor and weapons that the Samurai believed possessed supernatural powers. Free. Information: 882-2641.
YOUTH SPORTS CAMPS: The city of Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will offer a variety of youth sports camps with professional instruction now through Aug. 4.
