Sports in Brief: Search for yacht crew suspended
The San Francisco Yacht Club identified the four missing persons as Alan Cahill, of Tiburon, Calif.; Jordan Fromm, of San Rafael, Calif.; Elmer Morrissey, of Ireland; and Alexis Busch, of Larkspur, Calif.
They are the first fatalities in the 154-year history of the San Francisco club.
FOOTBALL: Terrance Knighton of Jacksonville will miss at least the next three months of the team's offseason program following eye surgery. Knighton, a former Temple star, had surgery April 8, hours after being hit with a bottle at a Jacksonville nightclub.
Giants' quarterback Eli Manning will be live from New York on May 5, when he hosts Saturday Night Live. His brother, Peyton , hosted the show in 2007.
HORSE RACING: A proposal to ban an anti-bleeding drug on race days in Kentucky failed when the state's horse racing commission voted, 7-7, in a roll-call vote. The drug in question is furosemide, marketed under the brand names Lasix or Salix.
