* Greater Fort Myers Dog Club
The Greater Fort Myers Dog Club will hold its Spring Show May 26-27 at the Lee Civic Center.
The show will be held at the Lee Civic Center, 11831 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, at the junction of State Road 31 and 78, on Saturday May 26, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday May 27, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with judging beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day.
There will be a $10 per car per day entry fee, or $17 for both days. Due to AKC regulations, dogs not entered in the show will not be allowed into the building. Additionally no children's strollers are permitted in the buildings.

* 8th Annual Ryan McCleskey Redfish Challenge Fishing Tournament
Lee Memorial Health System Foundation announces that angler spots are still available for the 8th Annual Ryan McCleskey Memorial Redfish Challenge set for Saturday, May 19, at Cape Harbour Marina, 5828 Cape Harbour Drive in Cape Coral. The day on the water runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes food, chance drawings and cash prizes: $1500 First Place, $750 Second Place and $500 Third Place.
